F344/crl rats were exposed via inhalation to alpha [plutonium-238 ( 238Pu )] or beta [yttrium-90 ( 90Y ), promethium-147 ( 147Pm ), or strontium-90 ( 90Sr )] emitting
radionuclides or specific combinations (plutonium-238 + 147Pm; 90Y + 90Sr) in insoluble fused aluminosilicate particles (FAP).
Databases for evaluating morbidity and mortality to 1.5 years after inhalation exposure are provided.
Both deterministic and stochastic biological effects were recorded. This website
provides the dosimetric and biological effects data obtained. The data were
taken from the following reports and can be used in developing models for application to radiological terrorism risk
assessment:
